The membership of the Association of Veterans Affairs Anesthesiologists (AVAA) is pleased to welcome you to its official web site. The AVAA is an independent association of VA Anesthesiologists whose purpose is to advance the practice of Anesthesiology in the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and to represent our members on important clinical, administrative and educational issues. The AVAA works collaboratively with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the DVA Headquarters Anesthesia Service, our academic University affiliates, and private industry.
