The AVAA works collaboratively with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the DVA Headquarters Anesthesia Service, our academic University affiliates, and private industry. 11/12/03 The October AVAA meeting was a smashing success! Read all about it in the newly updated Presidents Report and then see the powerpoints, see the pictures and HEAR the meeting on the Annual Meeting Minutes Page (members only). And then COMMUNICATE with your peers on our NEW message forum. Yes, its totally new and SIMPLER to use, so give it a try! And finally, as you'll hear in the broadcast email, we've simplified our password system! So, best of the coming holidays to all and please keep in touch. We need your input about the physician pay bill, the state/DOD component society issue and other issues of importance. Thanks to all who attended!

09/17/03 We have received a response from Dr. Roswell at CO regarding the issue of Anesthesiologists Assistants in the VA. It looks like a "win-win" situation for all involved! Read the full response and recommendations of a task force in our Clinical Forums/General Membership section (password required). Thanks to all involved.
