The Association of VA Anesthesiologists is once again having its annual dinner meeting concurrent with the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting in Orlando. All VA anesthesiologists and their spouses are invited to attend. This year the event will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm.

The location is Taverna Opa Restaurant, 9101 International Dr., Orlando, FL 32819. As you can tell, it is a greek restaurant and more details about the menu will follow.

Among other topics, Dr. Michael Bishop, Director, Anesthesia Services, VA Central Office will be speaking about current VA anesthesia issues. A provisional agenda is embedded below. If you want to add any other items, please include them in your response to the email address shown below.

The Association of VA Anesthesiologists is not affiliated with the National Anesthesia Service and membership is open to any anesthesiologist practicing in the Veterans Affairs. Annual dues of $35.00 are requested and are traditionally collected at the dinner meeting.

In order to obtain an accurate count of those attending the dinner, please RSVP (along with number of guests) to vhajsp@yahoo.com
